I feel like "In appreciation of 10 years of service" should add "your"
So "In appreciation of your 10 years of service"
Or using 'for' is also acceptable.
I guess the argument could be to add your on both...

Hi friends, you'd think I would have nailed this one down after 10 years, but anyway.
Should a plaque read "In appreciation of 10 years of service" or "In appreciation for 10 years of service" ? The Interwebs are divided, my internal english teacher says "for" and the customer suggests "of" to be 'more correct'.
Just curious where y'all lean :) Thanks.
