    Thank you!

We have always used Polycrylic to embed coins and badges.  They do a great job.

Can you clarify this.  Do you mean you do it yourself with Polycrylic or you have a company you use called Polycrylic?  If it is a company you use, can you please provide contact information.  When I do a search of "Polycrylic" I just get the the MiniWax Polycrylic that comes up lol.

That's funny.  Polycrylic is a good off-the-shelf product if you are finishing wood and don't want to change the natural color of the wood after applying, but what you want is the company Polycrylic.  http://www.polycrylic.com/

Paula, try Clear Image in Phoenix, AZ. They are an APA Supplier Member and do exhibit at the Vegas Show. 623-842--9333.

A few things you will want to note; the coins should be die-struck brass and not die-cast zinc. Brass embeds better without flaws in the acrylic. Also, if the coins are enamel color filled it should be a poly enemal, imitation hard enamel or a true hard enamel color fill, soft enamel will peel out when embedded because of the heat.

In the past I used Clear Image/Acrylic Warehouse but now use Century Manufacturing out of Wichita, KS because they went above and beyond on a tight deadline job I was presented.

I second Jeff Weidman, Polycrylic has been our go-to for embedded products.  We always do a pre-prod sample first to make sure there are no problems, as Vince warns about.  We've had super luck with them for the last 10 years or so.
