Hi Bryant,
I have found that if a PDF does not import into CorelDRAW correctly, but you can open it in Acrobat or other PDF reader, do one of two things....open the file in your preferred PDF reader and Save As a PDF and trying importing it again. If that does not work, rather than click Save As, Print to a PDF using Microsoft Print to PDF print driver. This always works for me. One last tip, when importing into CorelDRAW, I find it's important to select the correct filter. Don't use "All File Formats". CorelDRAW does not always use the best filter....especially when it comes to .pdf and .eps files.
Try the PDF hack and let me know if it works for you.
Good luck.

Along the Canva line, what is the best way to tell my customers how to send me art I can open in Corel X8? I tell them to convert to curves and save as a .pdf before sending. I can usually open the .pdf but occasionally, upon importing it into Corel, I get a "corrupt file" message. I've tried changing file names, standing on one foot, etc. but I must be missing something as a couple customers are actually successful.
