We do in-house engraving, heat transfer vinyl, printed vinyl, sublimation etc., most of it in quantities under 50. We can't beat the prices people can get for "swag" by ordering from companies like 4imprint and others. We do get asked if we can do say, 1000 of a swag item and they are hoping we can match a promo company's price and we obviously can't because they buy in such bulk that they pay a quarter of the best price we can source.
I received an email that went out to people who might be interested in an In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association (IPMA) membership. The association membership (of which we are not members) includes a partnership with Swagforce. The service normally costs $1200 per year, but if you are an IPMA member, it is included in the membership, which costs $350.
My understanding is that you get a branded Swagforce site and customers can order personalized swag and get prices similar to the other promo item vendors. The items are produced by Swagforce and dropshipped to you customer and you get a cut (no idea how much).
This kind of scenario is attractive to us because we work with a college campus that often orders large numbers of items to give away, but we just can't source the items cheap enough to do the work for them. I have tried ordering the blanks from the promo companies, and the cost is not much different from the personalized items.
If anyone has had experience with Swagforce, or a company like Swagforce, I would be very interested in how it worked/works for you.
Thank you in advance,
Michelle
