David, that is a great point that you brought up about digital displays being used with...or even for...donor recognition. We have had two different projects that incorporated them, although we did not provide the actual displays. I think that it is becoming important for our industry to be able to offer this type solution. Not only to those with larger budgets, but maybe even more so to organizations with smaller budgets. The ability to make changes on their own provides low cost updates for the long-term. Then we could can focus more on providing the individual recognition items for the actual donors.

While you are brainstorming this process, don't discount the concept of used a variety of high-resolution digital display panels to keep the display fresh and make it very easy to update. I am seeing more of this as the resolution of panels is becoming so refined. This opens up the opportunity to refresh the graphics and text, and to rotate images. You could also change the list of donors on the fly remotely. I can see this alternative as an easy sell to organizations with larger budgets.
