    Hello.

I have a customer that ordered a sphere (see attached) and a word was miss-spelled.  The need someone to sand out the old, re-engrave and polish.  We are trying to find an alternative to sending back to the manufacturer for the fix.  Any thoughts on who might be able to do this.  We are in East Texas so someone in the Dallas are would be ideal but we are grasping a straws at this point.

    Thank you.

Do you know if the sphere is silver plated or a solid metal that is polished?  In either case, you could reach out to a metalsmith in your area.  Here is one that came up on a quick search.

    Hi David.

Thank you for the info.  I've reached out to them and waiting to see what they say.  It's solid metal that has been polished.  The sphere was made to honor the donors for a special needs baseball complex here in Tyler.  Unfortunately the misspelled the name on one of the major contributors!  They are scrambling for a solution.

I appreciate the time and effort you put in helping answer questions.  I see your name often and I know it takes time out of a busy day to answer us.  You are greatly appreciated!
