Need some advice on fonts:

• Where do you download fonts from?
• Do you pay or find free downloads?
• Is there somewhere to buy bulk fonts (one time for most)?
• Anything to be worried about when downloading fonts (viruses, etc.)
• Any best practices for using/finding fonts?

I tend to use DA Font the most. I've never had an issue with viruses from this site. In all the years we've been in business, I've never purchased a font. We make it clear to the customer that we can get close. If it's a branded font, we ask that the whole branding package be sent so we have the font for only their items.  At that point it's on you to monitor the use of the fonts.  For example, we have the fonts used exclusively for our Ford dealership, we honor and understand the branding.  In cases where we don't automatically recognize the font, What the Font does a good job of getting close. I have it on my phone as an app because sometimes I see a font when I'm out and love it. I take a picture of it, upload it and voila, I have it. Then search....  free "font" download.  Sometimes you find it, sometimes you don't.  Just remember if you have multiple computers pulling up jobs, load the font on all the computers.   Hope that helped. :-)
