I would start by reloading the driver, it may have gotten corrupted. Confirm the speed settings for the X and Y axis in the software driver. I would follow that up with checking the wiring connections on the Y-axis motor on both ends, even reseating them in case there is some corrosion buildup. Check for any mechanical binding that could be taking place along the y-axis lead screw. These will be good things to do prior to contacting technical support.
