Hello World!! :)     We survived Hurricane Milton!!

As we begin to celebrate my 40th Year Anniversary of owning Sarasota Trophy & Awards, the universe has decided to try to throw some hurdles in our way.  With labor shortages and the loss of my spouse, co-owner and Admin. Sheree, and now Hurricane Milton, we are still standing.   Milton made landfall on the coast just 2 miles from our shop.  We sat in the eye of the hurricane for about 1/2 hour.  It was quite strange.  It was total devastation on the barrier islands, our communities prized possessions.  The loss of businesses in our community is catastrophic.  Our shop came through pretty much unscathed.   We do not have power and probably will not for quite a while.   While we recover and help those in need, I am reaching out to any of our suppliers to let them know that we are OK and will resume operations as soon as it is safe and we have power back.  We have limited access to our shop and the internet.   Our cell phones are intermittent at best.

Thank you to those that have already tried to reach out.  I appreciate the support of our supplier members.

If any suppliers need to contact me, please email:  Ken@sarasotatrophy.com

I will try to monitor email when I have the opportunity

    Ken,

I rode out the storm at the Embassy Suites in Sarasota. It was a scary night. After Helene, we had 2 ft. of water in our LBK home and braced for Milton. Fortunately, there was just major wind damage. The good news is that we are safe. I wish you well. If there is anything I can do, please let me know.
