  • 1.  Lamicoid plastic plate

    Hello,

    Would anyone know how to get that little notch at the top of the circle as per the attached image.

    Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    It is the little tab on top of the circle with the Clutch title



    I use Corel draw.

    make the circle, draw a square the size you need, position it in the space you need and then go to weld.  It will remove the part of the box inside the circle.We call them legend plates at our shop and that's how I learned to do it.  If that doesn't work just email me the dimensions and I can set it up for you.

    I have attached the information for the 4 legend plates that I require.

     

    It is the little tab on the circle that I am trying to make.

     

    I tried what you suggested however it did not work.

    Sherry,

    I've attached a CorelDRAW file that will get you very close. But, the snippet you attached doesn't show the width of the square at the top; so, technically it won't be perfect.
    The steps might be
    1.  create a 22mm circle
    2.  create a square ( I used 2.4mm)
    3.  select both
    4.  press "C"  then "T"  (to center top)
    5.  select only the square
    6.  move it upward  2.1mm
    7. select both
    8. weld
