  • 1.  Large Bronze/Cast Signs

    I have a particular customer who is looking for a 3.5'x8' cast sign (yes these are feet) . Does anyone have a vendor, whom they would recommend, to do cast signs this large? The foundries we currently use can only accommodate 24"x36" or 32"x32" .  Thanks in advance!!

    Gemini can cast up to 96" with a max of 5760 sq inches so 60" x 96"

    I'm sure Matthews can do it.

    If your customer can cut down to 7 feet you could use Gemini tooled bronze and save a ton over cast

    Hi Megan,  I am curious if you do the installations for bronze plaques like this in-house or source it out to a local contractor or sign company with whom you have a relationship?

    We always leave the install up to the customer because we don't have a contractors license, and in the state of CA, we don't want to even jump into that mess :-) Our customer is made aware of that from the get-go.

    We've had Matthews do large signs, what they do is weld them together and they look very good.

    Call Matthews 800-395-1317.  They can handle the project for you.  Also, for installation, work with reputable commercial contractor.
