This started today and is progressively getting worse. Any ideas what could be going on, belts are tight, bearings appear fine. Thanks in Advance!!

Not sure what type of laser you have? We have Epilog machines and have seen this in the past.  It was a fairly easy fix by replacing the X-axis flex cable or the X-axis encoder strip.

    Megan,

Looks to me like it is a Y axis issue. Clean & possibly lubricate Y axis components.  As Van suggested, different manufacturer's systems might require different solutions; so,  I think you'll get better input if you give us  make/model of your laser.
