We currently have a Zenetech laser and desperately in need a new one.  If you have any input on what to get or not to get, I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks so much,  DeeAnn

That is such a subjective question -  Xenetech's are work horses. We currently have 2 rotary engravers. On the Laser front, We've had Universal and GCC. I like Trotec and Epilog too. Are you looking for a CO2, or to jump into the Fiber world??  Honestly with a purchase like this, I like to wait for the Expo, that way I can drill the different companies with the things my business needs and see who fits the bill.

    Deeann,

Howdy! By now, I'm sure you & Melanie have spoken with Randy Sharp. If not, let me know; if so, I'm sure he has offered a demo. As I told Melanie, we can't sell y'all a new laser in Mississippi so maybe this info will seem a little more credible since I'm not trying to sell you something. :)

We have sold Epilog Lasers for over 30 years now and there are good reasons for that. We are HUGE fans of lasers that are designed, engineered, manufactured, and supported in the USA but that's just ONE of the many reasons we recommend Epilog Laser over any other brand.

FWIW, we also carried the Xenetech laser line for several years and we were big fans of their lasers ... until the company went "belly up". IF that was still an option for you, since you're already familiar with the equipment and the software, we'd probably recommend sticking with THAT American-made laser but, as you know well, it's no longer an option.

While we'd all love to see y'all at the Expo, I'm under the impression that there's a little more urgency in your situation so I'd recommend reaching out to your top 3 and asking them for demos, side-by-side comparisons, and for references now vs. waiting until 2025.

    Good luck!

    Hey Jeanette,

Mel has spoken most highly of you, and I know you have been helping her!  I really appreciate it because I know nothing about lasers.....

I am pretty sure we will end up with Epilog.  I know she is working on trying to get a demo so we shall see!  You will see us at the Expo and can't wait to meet you!
