  • 1.  Lee's Wood Products

    Does anyone know if Lee's Wood Products in VA is closed, or if something has happened to them?  I have been trying to reach out to them for weeks by leaving voicemail messages and sending emails, with no response.  I have even sent a text message to Darren Robertson's personal cell phone and gotten no response.  I am worried that something is wrong.  Thanks for any insight you can provide.

    Last order we received from them was on 6/14.  We have not reached out to them since but at that point, all was fine.

    Hi Mark,

    I know they closed the week of July 4th

    I received products from them the week before the July 4th break and had a couple of shadowboxes come in yesterday that they shipped out on Monday

    Are you using leeswood@embarqmail.com ? I usually get a reply the same day from Darren

    Thank you for all the replies!  I understand that they are still in business and operating, which is a great thing because they have wonderful quality products. 

    A couple people have reached out to Darren and he has indicated that he will contact me soon.

    The woodworking wholesalers are becoming fewer and fewer because there are more and more direct-to-consumer award-related woodshops that have come to the surface.  Lee's is still going strong, they just don't often answer the phone these days.  That's a sign they are busy or short staffed.  It's likely a combination of both.  I'm certainly glad I've taken this type of thing in-house.  The convenience is astounding.
