  • 1.  Looking for a 2.625 x .875 Brass plate

A customer brought a perpetual plaque in that had the perpetual plates already on it. I somehow managed to mess up two (one with a spelling error and one with a bad sticky mat. None of the major supplier seem to carry this. Any help is greatly appreciated since the wood has aged and a smaller plate will be too noticeable.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

If you don't have a metal shear, corner notcher/rounder and hole punch, those are some things you should really invest in, assuming by your business name you are in that market.  This will allow you to make plates like this in-house.  Most awards and engraving shops could make these for you.  My units are over 25 years old and have been through the battle and still operate flawlessly.  I purchased mine from Accucutter.

If you have someone duplicate these for you, it would be best to provide them the original plate to make sure the holes are in the precise location.  A highly accurate measurement may suffice,

Every engraving some should have a hole/notcher in there building (see below example from Main Trophy).  It allows you to match most holes/notch placement on metal plates.

I can make these for you.  I use JDS leaded brass brass.  With your sample, I will make the exact notches and holes.
