Michael, I am glad you found APA's forum. Welcome to the APA and our Industry. I am not sure if you mentioned if you have a laser but if you do that opens the door to a bunch of options. If you look at some stock items from JDS, Marco, PDU, or Simba you can laser engrave almost any message to make them a Thank you gift.
Lori has you on the right track, see what your customer has for a budget, and then go shopping on the websites and add your profit market and your laser costs to the item.
