APA Open Community

Hi everyone,

My name is Brian Cutts, and I'm thrilled to introduce myself as the new Event Coordinator for Trotec! I'm looking forward to getting to know the APA community, building connections, and collaborating with many of you.

A little about me: Before joining Trotec, I worked as an Event Coordinator for the American Grappling Federation. Martial arts have always been a big part of my life-I grew up training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), and after graduating from the University of North Texas, I started refereeing tournaments, which naturally led to a career in event management.

At Trotec, I'm excited to bring my experience to a new industry, helping showcase our cutting-edge laser systems through events and tradeshows.

I'd love to hear more about you! Please feel free to reply and introduce yourself, share what company you work for, and maybe something fun or unique about yourself (like a hobby or passion).

It's nice to meet you on our forum and I'm glad you are a part of our APA community! I can't wait to see what you and Trotec have in store for us this year.

One crazy thing about me is I like to make up songs to entertain my 5 grandkids, ages 1-6 years old. Whether it's cooking in the kitchen or Gigi (that's me) making coffee, or playing on the floor with Legos or Magna-Tiles with the kiddos, I like to mix it up with songs with a R&B or Rock flavor! LOL

Thanks for the warm welcome! It's great to connect, and I'm so excited to be part of the APA community. I can't wait to see you and your team at APA this year-looking forward to all the creativity and fun ahead!

I love that you sing to your grandkids; that's awesome! I have three nephews, and I do something similar-I make up songs with life lessons for them. It's a fun way to connect, and I like to think they're secretly learning something too! Maybe we need to collaborate on a hit single, R&B style, haha.

One fun fact about me is that I was a Rotary Exchange Student in Belguim my senior year of High School. I've always loved travel and really enjoy traveling to new places for tradeshows as well.

That's so cool that you were a Rotary Exchange Student in Belgium. I've had the chance to travel to Brussels and Ghent for business, and I absolutely loved it! The culture, architecture, and of course, the waffles were unforgettable.

It sounds like we share a passion for travel, especially when it comes to exploring new places for tradeshows. Can't wait to hear more about your exchange experience when we meet!
