My wife is a teacher and colleagues are asking her if we can supply personalized pencils (the holidays are coming up and the teachers give them to students as a gift).  This could be a large order so I'm doing my homework on sourcing #2 wood pencils to ensure I get quality at a good price.​  We'll do the laser engraving ourselves.

Do you all have a preferred vendor for bulk wood pencils?  They may want a color other than the standard yellow.

Check out hub - they are on an A discount a;so the cost is minimal and will save you a lot of time over lasering them and frankly imprint will look better. It's a great company. Maybe tell them why you are giving them. Also if you can work in your company name they may give you a self promotion discount too

I've worked with AakronLine - AAkron Line and also Shepenco - Custom Shepenco Pens & Pencils - Quality Logo Products for promo pencils for customers in the past.

If you really want to do the engraving you can certainly inquire with them about getting wholesale blank pencils.
