Hi David,
Can you share the company you use in FL for sharpening your shear blades? We also have numerous AccuCutter shears and will be needing sharpening soon.
Thanks, in advance, for your help. :)

Hi David, Yes it does seem Accucutter is out of business. 🤨
Fortunately, I have three of the guillotine shears - 1 12" and 2 24"
We whack up a ton of metal here.
A few things about those - I have a really good company here in Florida we use for sharpening, although I doubt you will need it based on your post.
So for those shears, we laser cut strips of Gemini plastic in 1/8" increments based on the distance from that right angle attachment on the back to the stop and it allows up set the shear for any size in moments without all the measuring or other efforts.
We also have a TENNSMITH 48" shear that I highly recommend if you cut large sheets.

While we are on this topic, I was going to share the positive experience I've had with my guillotine-style cutter from AccuCutter. I've gotten 26+ years of service out of it and have two sets of blades so will likely outlast me. My only concern is that I'm not sure if AccuCutter is still in business. To confirm that I gave them a call and their number is out of service. I had been considered ordering their 25" model. If they are out of business I may have to go a different route.
