    Anyone have any good PC software they use for texting customers other than using a phone?

    We send an email to their phone. You can use services like www.freecarrierlookup.com . (there are others)

    Enter their phone number and it will give you the link to email their phone. Just right click, copy and then paste to your email. No need to use your phone.

    I use freecarrierlookup.com but many times they limit the monthly usage.  Do you have other good options?

    If you use Sage at all their new text messaging seems to be great. I've been testing it out this week and I like it so far.

    We use TextFree by Pinger.  The nice feature is that it is not only is it an app that you can use on a old ipad,  but you can access it from your computer.  This has allowed us to quickly respond with back and forth questions, answers and proofs with our clients without giving out our personal phone numbers.
