If you have a good chip removal system, that could eliminate the need for the horrible covers provided. The oem covers are somewhat sharp and typically chips fall down. It is very difficult to perfectly set up a watch with text and possible circles and areas to avoid. I have made a pretty simple solution. I call it a PenWriter. It is pretty hard to see from your pix but it looks like X & Y axis is offsetting. Is diamond cutter loose in spindle? I recommend a diamond drag adapter which is a solid mount and does no damage to your center shaft on spindle. Next possibility is leadscrew nuts and thrust bearing out of adjustment. ...
